My name is Rachel Mendelson and I am so excited to be spending the summer with all of you as the Assistant Director of Yad B’Yad and PD of Trip 1! I have been involved in Yachad ever since I was a participant on Yad B’Yad. I have been a Program Director on Yad B’Yad for the past few summers and am so excited to be coming back! I am lucky to work for Yachad all throughout the year as the Assistant Director of Yachad New York. I have had the opportunity to work on so many fun projects here in Yachad like the marathons, Nesher Yachad, High School Leadership Shabbaton and so on. I grew up in Teaneck, NJ and went to Ma’ayanot for High School. I spent a year learning in Tiferet and then made my way to Stern College where I studied education. I recently graduated from Wurzweiler School of Social Work to obtain my LMSW! I am really looking forward to be spending the summer with each of you while we get to learn, grow and have fun together!
