Hello YBY 2021! My name is Nicole Berman and let me tell you a little bit about myself! 

I grew up in a small town called Teaneck, New Jersey, and there met my husband Aryeh who lived 2 blocks away (he is very excited for his first Yachad summer)! I graduated from Stern College where I majored in Judaic Studies (and minored in biology because I thought I was going to be a dentist). After, I pursued a Masters in Jewish Education at the Azrieli Graduate School. Last year, I taught in a high school in New York. Currently, Aryeh and I are privileged to be living in the holy city of Yerushalyim, where I teach at a couple of seminaries. 

Now for the fun stuff – this will God willing be my 8th summer with Yachad and 4th summer on YBY!! I have three brothers, I am a lefty but play sports righty, and I love Cocoa Pebbles! Aside for the Kotel, my top 3 spots to visit in Israel are Masada, Machane Yehuda, and the Biblical Zoo! I love those Israel views, and especially a good sunset! 

I can hear my homeland calling me (and you)!!
