Hey YBY 2021!!!!! Joe Amster here!

I am beyond excited for this coming summer but before we get there, there are a few things you should probably know about me. I am from the great township of West Orange, NJ and attended Kushner for a total of 14 years! After that I spent 2 years in Israel at Yeshivat Lev Hatorah and now attend Rutgers University. Ever since going on YBY in 2015 I spent every summer with Yachad either at Nesher, Yachad Getaway, or as a counselor on YBY but am pumped to take on this new summer as head staff! 

Some other, potentially more important facts about me: I’m really into everything having to do with nature (especially nature documentaries but especially not spiders), I wear crocs often (and almost exclusively WITH socks), I can do a cartwheel, I’ve long ago lost track of how many times I’ve read Harry Potter, I love discovering new music, and last but definitely not least I can’t wait to meet all you this summer!!!!!!!
